Deeply Rooted Apparel is BACK at Fashionista Friday II: House of Glam!!! Deeply Rooted is a hip, stylish, fashion savvy apparel line which confidently, yet gently speaks of the presence, peace and pursuit of God’s love in this life. We merge the ever-changing world of fashion with the unchanging Word of God. Our company motto, “HIS Word. Your Style.” says it all. We combine cute, casual and contouring tees and tops with inspirational words and scripture to make the perfect fit for the Faith Forward Fashionista.

In 2003, I partnered with another creative mind to form Deeply Rooted Apparel. We noticed a disconnect between the youth and the more “seasoned” women of our local church, so we created a concept that would bridge that gap: fashionable attire that expressed our faith, while still lending a feel of individuality and self-expression. The response to the product was overwhelming! Months later, we took a leap of faith, made Deeply Rooted Apparel a legal entity and expanded beyond the church doors to the mainstream at the McDonalds Gospel fest with (2) tee styles: “So Loved” and “Made in HIS Image". Today, “So Loved” is still one of our best sellers. The company added the scripture: Psalm 1:3 which would later prove to be the underlying theme and foundation for the company which reads:

"He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper."
